Semi-retired CEO of Dallas, Texas-based D&M Leasing, Micheal Albert “Mike” Hernandez III balances a career in the automotive leasing industry with a commitment to numerous charitable and philanthropic initiatives. A native of Brownsville, Texas, Mike Hernandez III founded the Cameron County Education Initiative (CCEI) to support the area.

Created to provide opportunities for debt-free education and training to individuals living in Cameron County, Texas, CCEI offers classes and technical training programs taught by professionals in the field. The organization holds these sessions at a fully equipped, 10,000-square-foot facility that features workshops, classrooms, and administrative offices. In addition to helping students develop employable skills, CCEI provides career development training to help students prepare for life in the professional world.
CCEI provides local companies a pool of well-trained, pre-screened candidates who are matched to employer needs. Additionally, CCEI helps local companies schedule interviews with candidates, hosts job fairs, and offers training and meeting spaces to the business community.
