Michael “Mike” Albert Hernandez III studied industrial distribution at Texas A&M University. He has since gone on to assume chief executive officer responsibilities with D & M Leasing in Dallas and its parent company Hernco, Inc. Mike Hernandez III engages with a wide range of Texas charities, from CCEI in Brownsville to the Texas A&M Foundation.

A trio of Texas A&M alums who currently lead Will Reed, a recruiting and consulting firm serving the Dallas technology sector, have returned to the university with a fellowship designed to facilitate greater interest and opportunity in technology jobs among women. Chief executive officer Paige Robinson, strategy manager Caroline Lengyel, and marketing manager Megan Mulcahy, not only graduated from the university between 2010 and 2016, but also engaged in the Texas A&M Foundation Maroon Coat program. Appreciating the life and business lessons learned as Maroon Coats, the Will Reed executive team has reached out to the program to establish a valuable internship opportunity, the Women’s Sales Fellowship.
Tori Forbess '19 and Madison Codney '18, were the first two students to take part in the fellowship. The 10-week summer program included a number of on-site visits with actual Will Reed clients, extensive marketing and client communications training, and a series of knowledgeable guest speakers. The Will Reed team hopes the fellowship will grow in the future and reverse the trend of fewer women getting involved in the tech industry.
