Dedicated to giving back to his community, Mike Hernandez III supports a number of charitable organizations, including the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The program’s tutors and mentors reinforce writing, reading, and math skills. Experienced teachers facilitate the program with the assistance of community volunteers.

With the support of donors, StudyTime now helps more than 200 students each year through five locations across the city. In addition, the program has added a new component for social-emotional learning and introduced technology to bolster student learning. Individuals can learn more about StudyTime and other programs operated by the Dallas Society of St. Vincent de Paul online at SVDPDallas.org.
